Qualfacto is a participant recruitment and research panel operated by Think Design. This policy explains how we handle information when you join the panel, use our website, or participate in research.

Information we collect

We may collect contact details, participant profile and demographic information, study preferences, eligibility responses, household information, consent records, and an optional audio or video introduction. Technical records such as timestamps, browser information, and security logs may also be collected when needed to operate and protect the service.

How we use information

We use information to create and maintain your participant profile, verify contact details, match you with suitable research studies, communicate about participation, administer incentives, support you, prevent misuse, and comply with applicable obligations. We do not sell participant personal information.

Sharing

Information may be shared with authorized Qualfacto and Think Design staff, vetted service providers that help us host or operate the service, and research clients when required for a study and explained to you. We limit sharing to what is reasonably necessary and may use aggregated or de-identified information where practical.

Retention and security

We retain information only while it is needed for the purposes described above, legitimate operational or legal needs, and dispute resolution. We use access controls, encrypted services, monitoring, and other reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may decline a study, withdraw optional consent, request access or correction, or ask us to delete your information. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, payment, legal, or compliance purposes. See our data deletion instructions.
